High Rank Applications - OPEN

With the launch of Black Dawn, we've opened high rank applications! We encourage everyone to apply if they feel they meet the requirements. Even if you don't quite match what we're looking for, consider applying anyways!

Leader

We are looking for leaders for HawkClan and BadgerClan. These leaders will have the opportunity to shape their Clan's lore and territory! In addition, as a leader you'll enjoy the final say in what happens in your Clan, as long as it doesn't violate site or roleplaying rules.

With those privileges, though, comes higher expectations. Leaders have stricter activity requirements than any other non-staff member on the boards.

To be considered sufficiently active as a leader, you must meet these requirements:

• Make at least three general roleplay posts every week. These posts can be anything, though a leader performing other leader duties that contribute to their activity status (i.e. holding Clan meetings) does not contribute to this requirement. For some examples, a leader may hunt, patrol, help train apprentices, chat with their Clanmates, examine threats in the territory, or train to fulfill this requirement.
  
  
• Hold at least one Clan meeting every two weeks IRL. A leader may hold meetings more frequently if they wish, but we ask that they do not hold meetings more than once per week unless necessary.
  
  
• Attend every Gathering unless there is an IC reason for their Clan to not be present. In addition, the leader must sufficiently participate. This includes making an arrival post, an announcements post for their Clan, and any reactions to what the other Clans report, as needed.
  
  
• Attend every battle, unless there is an IC reason for them not to be present.
  
  
• Address any visitors to their den within four days, assuming they have an open or semi-open den policy.

There is no form for the leader application. Simply comment down below explaining why you feel you would be a good fit for the role. Also include a description of the character you'd play as leader and indicate which Clan you're applying for! You may apply for multiple Clans, but you will only be able to lead one.

All leader candidates will be required to perform a roleplay test with @Cherry~. We expect our leaders to be literate, advanced roleplayers.

Deputy

BearClan, BadgerClan, and HawkClan are all looking for deputies. Deputies will have the following activity requirements:

• Organize patrols at least once every three days.
  
  
• Participate in at least one patrol per week.
  
  
• Give a weekly report to the Clan leader.
  
  
• Attend all Clan meetings and Gatherings, and participate in them as appropriate.
  
  
• Make at least three general roleplay posts per week.

As with the leader applications, there will be no form for deputy. Reply below explaining why you feel you'd be a great fit for deputy, as well as how you'd portray the role. Include a couple of plot ideas! Please also indicate which Clan you're applying for. You may apply for multiple Clans, but you will only be allowed to be deputy of one.

All deputy candidates will be required to take a roleplay test with either the leader or a staff member, depending on whether or not a leader is available at that time. Deputies are expected to be literate, advanced roleplayers.

Medicine Cat

BearClan, BadgerClan, and HawkClan are all looking for medicine cats. The activity requirements for medicine cats are:

• Address all visitors to the medicine den within four days.
  
  
• Make at least one herb collecting post every week.
  
  
• Attend all half-moon gatherings unless they have an IC reason not to, and participate appropriately. A medicine cat must interact with StarClan during their visit, and should also interact with their fellow medicine cats.
  
  
• Attend all Gatherings, and participate as appropriate.
  
  
• Participate in post-battle healing events.
  
  
• Make at least two training posts with their medicine apprentice, if relevant, per week.

I have some more lore for Sapphirestar.

Sapphirestar's mentor, Mousetail, had focused more on hunting skills more than fighting skills. And so, she was only a little better at fighting than a half-grown apprentice, but she was good enough at hunting that she could feed half of the Clan after hunting for a single day.

@Sapphireshine Thank you for your application! I’d like to get multiple applications for the same position in before making any decisions.

In addition, you will need to select a different prefix for Sapphirestar if she is accepted! Sapphire is not something the Clan cats would know about.

Name:Ashstar.
Appearance:A light grey tom with ice blue eyes.
Personality:Confident yet sarcastic and impatient he.
Roleplay Style:
Ashstar jumped off the solid, muddy ground to the PeakRock {Beta name} “All cats old enough to prove their worth! Gather below my paws for a important clan meeting!” The ice-blue gaze from the leader sweeped his clanmates gathering below where the tom was currently sat. The tom was especially greatful for the clan as they brought him from disappearance. Flicking one ear to the side of his skull, as is to listen to anything anycat had to speak of.

Why I would be good for leader: I'm detailed, and I never forget to post. I'm willing to make a change if I'm told by a clanmate/staff.
I'm not easily rushed so I can spend more time.

EDIT: I just realized that LumiO actually wants to join BadgerClan so not as much competition
